1. Machine wash fabric on HOT cycle, minimum temperature of 140oF (60oC), or by hand in a pot on the stove

2. Make colour bath by mixing 1 ½ cups (375 ml) Binder with 3½ quarts (3500 ml) of water at room temperature 75o to 95oF (24o to 35oC). Stir well.

3. Add 16 to 24 ounces (2 to 3 cups) or (456 to 684 ml) Colour pigment concentrate to the colour bath and stir well.

4. Wear rubber gloves, when you apply the colour. Immerse washed garment into the colour bath and stir thoroughly until saturated.

5. Remove garment from solution and wring it out well. Allow excess colour bath to flow back into its container.

Pattern Techniques:

* To get darker streaks of Neon colour, wring out only once and hang to dry.

* For uniform, even colour, refold and wring several times until no more liquid is seen in the creases of the garment.

* For a blotchy look, crumple garment and squeeze out excess solution instead of wringing.

Left-over solution can be stored in a closed container for future use. Shelf life of colour bath is approximately two months.

6. Open garment and hang to dry.

7. When dry, run in clothes dryer for 45 minutes at highest setting. This permanently fixes the colour on the fabric. Do not wash for 5 to 7 days after heat setting.
